Maternity Unit Resource Packs
Maternity Worldwide has developed a Maternity Unit Resource Pack for distribution to interested departments. This has the dual function of providing up-to-date educational material on childbirth in developing countries and contains a tool kit to help your department to work with the charity to raise funds.
We are currently working with the Royal College of Midwives and Royal
College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists to facilitate the
participation of UK maternity units in our fundraising activities.
What do the packs contain?
1. Maternity Unit Resource Pack 'The Guide'
2. Interactive CD ROM containing:
- PowerPoint presentation with speakers notes on 'Childbirth in Developing Countries' suitable for unit meetings and CPD PowerPoint presentation for the General Public and Parentcraft or Antenatal groups
- Key up-to-date references for maternal mortality

- Photo Gallery
- A full range of resources for fundraising
4. Leaflets and other promotional materials to help you fundraise
5. An eye-catching full colour laminated A1 poster accompanies the pack for you to display in a prominent place in your unit*
