"It was a great personal achievement in a safe and supportive environment and I made so many new friends"

"The challenge of a lifetime, partly of physical endurance, but more so one that builds character, compassion & pride. A trip where unforgettable bonds will be made with fellow cyclists & locals alike, but ultimately a trip so crucial that many lives depend upon it"

The cycle takes place in Ethiopia, from the capital Addis Ababa to Gimbie, in Western Ethiopia. Gimbie is the location of one of our projects, so you will be able to see exactly where the money you raise will go. You will cycle approximately 350km, over 6 days though the beautiful, mountainous and lush green region of Oromia.

It really is the trip of a lifetime. If you need a little more convincing, why not take a look at the "diaries" of Annabel and Lucy who took part in the challenge in previous years.
