Fundraising for Maternity Worldwide

Group based fundraising

Faith Groups
Many faith groups nominate a particular charity for the year and organise collections and fundraising events, whilst raising awareness of the charity at the same time. We can provide advice and encouragement throughout your support. Read about St Andrew's Methodist Church for inspiration!

Community Groups
Setting up a community group is a great way to get to know the locals, whilst raising money for Maternity Worldwide. It doesn't have to start off huge, and doesn't have to take up loads of time. You could then organise a speed dating night, wine tasting evening, local bring and buy sale, or a themed party. The possibilities are endless! Download our A-Z of Fundraising Ideas for more inspiration.

Schools
Schools can get involved with both fundraising and awareness building. If you are a teacher at a school, why not suggest you nominate Maternity Worldwide for any fundraising activities? We are in the process of developing a school resource pack, incorporating lesson plans, visual materials, and fundraising ideas. Get in touch for more information.

Professional Groups
Why not get a group of people from work involved in fundraising? The midwives in the Chichester Maternity Unit raised a massive £1800 for Maternity Worldwide. Click here to see how they did it.

Download our A-Z of Fundraising Ideas for plenty of ideas!
