Ethiopia Bike Ride Challenge 2007

October 26th - November 7th 2007

We are now recruiting for the Ethiopia Bike Ride Challenge 2007. If you're up for the challenge, then read on...

If you fancy doing something completely different, and worthwhile, this might be the trip for you. You will be able to make a real difference to the lives of women in Africa, whilst at the same time having an incredibly fulfilling and enjoyable personal experience.

The cycle takes place in Ethiopia, from the capital Addis Ababa to Gimbie, in Western Ethiopia. Gimbie is the location of one of our projects, so you will be able to see exactly where the money you raise will go. You will cycle approximately 350km, over 6 days though the beautiful, mountainous and lush green region of Oromia.

It really is the trip of a lifetime. If you need a little more convincing, why not take a look at the "diaries" of Annabel and Lucy who took part in the 2006 challenge.

Click here to download the Information Pack. This should answer many of your questions but please don't hesitate to contact us for more information: bikeride@maternityworldwide.org, or call 01273 682241.

Convinced? Great! Fill in the simple registration form and send it back to us:
